Lavender Maillette Essential Oil is obtained from the Maillette cultivar of the true Lavender plant. This essential oil is highly regarded for its potent and rich scent, as this variety yields the sweetest lavender scent.
Lavender Maillette Essential Oil has a much sweeter and softer aroma than most other Lavender oils, which can be attributed to its high Linalyl Acetate content. Linalyl Acetate is a naturally occurring phytochemical that gives Lavender Maillette Essential Oil its anti-inflammatory and sedative properties. Lavender Maillette Essential Oil is grown in France. This is the premier growing region for Lavender, as Lavender is a Mediterranean plant and requires a similar climate to thrive.
