Guaiacwood Essential Oil is steam distilled from the wood of the Guayacan tree, native to Paraguay in South America. The oil produced has a sweet, earthy, woody aroma with rose undertones and has a viscous wax-like consistency. The oil can be warmed and will remain liquid for a few hours or blended with other oils. Once Guaiacwood Essential Oil is liquified and blended, the oil will remain mobile.
Guaiacwood Essential Oil is used as an anti-inflammatory for a tightening effect on the skin and imparting a lustrous glow to the face. Guaiacwood is commonly used by Aromatherapists to relieve joint and muscle pains as well as other symptoms of arthritis, gout, and rheumatism.
